quite a shocking term break i had, as my IE group received an email from our client informing us that he was quite worried for us as we might not be able to grab his meaning and how the BnB business work due to our language barrier.
all along i feel that our team is able to understand the needs of this system(even now), so receiving this kind of email.. anyway, we had a discussion with our supervisor, had a run through of what we had understand, and what we can do to capture a more detailed information from our client. and most importantly, understanding the need to present our knowledge of the system in a systematic and structured way to our client to ascertain him that we know what we are doing...
however, one thing i find it difficulty in, was the requirement gathering, as the client will forever request for more. more so if we recommend something to him, regardless its good or not(perhaps should test the client by suggesting a useless idea!! wahaha) he will wants it in the system. perhaps to us human, it better to be more then less and what more when we are like "free labor" for him!!
anyway, after this incident, the whole group seems to be getting more on the ball then ever, as the meeting we had today was truly productive and there are more "argument" to the ideas from each other, which i think is good, as it really makes us think...
lastly like what our supervisor said, life is fulls of comments and setback, and we must learn to adapt and learn from it, solve the problems that arise, and move on.. 1 more lesson learnt..
